The adoption journey begins with
a homestudy. In Georgia, the homestudy consists of three
contacts with each Adoptive applicant: the first time, meeting
the husband and wife together, then meeting the husband
and wife individually, then meeting the couple together,
this time in their home. There are a number of documents
to be compiled and forms to be completed during the homestudy
process.
The AAA P.I.A. homestudy will be written to satisfy Georgia
requirements, as well as the requirements of INS, if applicable.
For applicants adopting domestically, our home study can
be used to adopt through any agency or attorney in any state
in the U.S. For applicants adopting internationally, our
home study can be used to adopt from any region within a
particular country.
We understand that some people may find the homestudy uncomfortable.
The case workers at AAA P.I.A. are trained professionals
who treat our clients with respect and sensitivity. Our
goal is to equip you to be successful adoptive parents and
help make your dreams come true.
We have case workers serving all areas of Georgia including
Atlanta, Middle Georgia, and Savannah.
SIncerely,
Melissa Clause, Executive
